Next-gen Call of Duty to finally get a new engine?

According to Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg the next iteration of the series, Call of Duty: Ghosts, is to get an engine upgrade. "Infinity Ward set the gold standard for first-person action for a generation, and they're going to do it again with Call of Duty: Ghosts."
"Ghosts delivers an all-new story, all-new characters, an all-new Call of Duty world, all powered by a next generation Call of Duty engine, which is a leap forward for the franchise. Infinity Ward is going all-in to create the next generation of Call of Duty worthy of the world's greatest fans."
Whether this means that the IW engine will be getting a massive overhaul or if the IW team are outsourcing the engine remains to be seen. Either way, I totally called it we caught hints of this last year, so it isn't much of a surprise.

Raven Software and Neversoft Supporting Development of Call of Duty: Ghosts

Infinity Ward has confirmed that both Raven Software and Neversoft have been supporting the development of Call of Duty: Ghosts. While Raven has been involved with the Call of Duty series for awhile now, Neversoft only recently became involved. For months there has been speculation as to what they were working on, and now we know.  

Call of Duty: Ghosts will utilize Voice Commands via Kinect

Activision has recently confirmed that the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts will utilize voice commands for the first time in the series, via the Xbox Kinect. Not many details have sprung up yet, but battle cries such as "Take Cover" for your squadmates and "Reload" to make your character reload have been speculated. Specific commands for the Dog character in Ghosts have also been speculated as well. Activision has stayed away from adding Voice Commands into Call of Duty in the past, so they must be confident this time around that it is going to enhance gameplay, not put players at a disadvantage or turn it into something ridiculous and funny to watch.
